As a Project Engineer, the main responsibility includes working directly with customers to provide the best solution to their wastewater filtration needs. This will involve using existing equipment and system modules, as well as development of new modules.

The role is based in our Mokena, IL office.

The position requires 25% travelling.


What is the role?

  • Collaborate with sales and other engineers to envision and design systems for customers.
  • Create cost estimates and assist in proposal development.
  • Use 2D & 3D CAD software to create and update customer drawings and manufacturing drawings.
  • Test systems to ensure proper function.
  • Provide technical support to existing customers.
  • Travel nationally to customer sites to train personnel on the operations and service of the systems.
  • Provide over-the-telephone technical assistance to customers.
  • Technical writing
  • Help create and prove out engineering standards

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Entry to mid-level engineering experience.
  • Ability to prioritize work load.
  • Must be self-starter capable of working both independently, as well as part of the team.
  • Must have solid analytical skills and be a good problem solver
  • Able to read blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
  • Knowledge of mechanical system and their designs and uses.
  • Knowledge of PLC's and/or industrial automation programming is a Plus
