What is the Role? As a Buyer/Planner for our Process Aeration team, you'll play an important role in ensuring reliable, cost-effective supply of materials and components for aftermarket projects. You'll combine sourcing, detailed planning, and proactive expediting to keep projects on schedule and within budget - all while contributing to high-impact water treatment solutions that serve communities across North America.

In this role, you will:

• Process requests for quotes while building strong supplier relationships.
• Place and manage purchase orders based on requisitions and MRP signals.
• Break down complex bills of material from structural blueprints, build accurate BOMs in the MRP system, and coordinate scheduling around site conditions, weather, and delivery timelines.
• Bid out product lines to secure the best combination of pricing, quality, and delivery while upholding rigorous standards.
• Proactively expedite orders, track progress, and maintain accurate reports to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support logistics and material movement to optimize cost and timing in a fast-paced environment.

We're looking for proactive, career-driven professionals who bring energy and ownership to their work. Ideal candidates will have:

• 3+ years of purchasing, planning, or supply chain experience (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience).
• Demonstrated aptitude for reading and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints and identifying components.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Syteline CSI 10 is a plus).
• Basic proficiency with using CAD tools (AutoCAD, Autodesk Vault, or similar) for revisions and ECOs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple parts/orders in a complex manufacturing environment.
• A proactive, follow-through mindset with proven ability to drive results under pressure.
• Experience coordinating logistics and material flow for optimal cost and timing.
• Familiarity with supplier agreements, LOIs, conditional POs, terms & conditions, and mechanical/technical concepts.
• Familiarity with AISC structural steel standards and domestic steel sourcing is a plus

Education: Minimum of two years of post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent relevant experience.
