At Ovivo Water, we're passionate about water. We're seeking motivated undergraduate Engineer for hands-on internships in our Salt Lake City office. If you're eager to apply your classroom knowledge to real projects, collaborate with worldwide water treatment experts, and contribute to innovative, sustainable solutions that protect our planet's most precious resource-this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

This is a full-time internship (35-40) hours a week, flexible schedule, with opportunity for extension. We follow a Hybrid schedule, so only 2-3 days a week in the office. 

What You'll Do

As a Controls Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on current projects. Responsibilities will include:

• Assist with general engineering analysis and the preparation of schematics, layouts, detailed drawings, calculations, specifications, software design documentation and PLC programs
• Compile Installation, Operations, and Maintenance manuals for the Technical Writing team.
• Track drawings, submittals, and releases requested by the Project Manager.
• Liaise with Ovivo Controls Engineers, panel builders/shops, and procurement to keep scheduled delivery on track.

Expect mentorship, exposure to relevant tools and processes, and the opportunity to tackle meaningful challenges that directly support our mission of helping clients become more sustainable.

Who We're Looking For

• Talented undergraduate students pursuing a degree in engineering (junior or senior preferred)
• Curious, proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and real-world problem-solving
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Instrumentation.
• Basic knowledge of PID drawings, mechanical and structural drawings, and wiring schematics is a plus
• Team player who values integrity, collaboration, and making a positive global impact
• Ability to work in our Salt Lake City, UT location (in-person, hybrid, 2-3 days per week onsite)
