What is the Opportunity?

As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for managing the technical aspects within a multi-disciplinary team for the development and commercialization of new water technologies.

The role can be remote position, preference location would be Salt Lake City, UT or Austin, TX.

Expected domestic travel is 10-40%.

What is the role?

• Manage the mechanical technical aspects within a multi-disciplinary team for the development and commercialization of new water treatment technologies.
• General knowledge of industrial water equipment, shop and field erect tankage, skid fabrication, and field installation.
• Direct, develop, and check calculations, models, layouts, piping layout of detailed drawings, specifications, as prepared by drafters/designers and other engineers.
• Establish/develop appropriate design methods, sizing, and costing programs in coordination with other engineer disciplines for new technologies.
• Review all applicable project data, including plans, specifications, fabrication, erection, and standard engineering drawings.
• Execute the design of new treatment Technologies. Provide technical support to shop and field start-up services of those constructing designs.
• Document and update design procedures on a regular basis.
• Travels to the project site to conduct project-related tasks; provides timely responses to managers and clients on project tasks

Does this sound like you?

• B.S. degree in in mechanical or manufacturing engineering from an ABET accredited university with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
• Proficiency in Autocad.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 30LBS.
• Travel - 1-2 day visits for shop and field installation inspections; 1-3 week site commissioning. Travel is typically 2 to 3 times per quarter.
