The role is based at the head office located in downtown Montreal and we enjoy a flexible hybrid work model with two days a week at the office.

What is the Role?

• Assist the Director, Taxation in global reporting, such as OECD Pillar 2 and Country-by-Country Reporting data gathering and analysis.
• Assist the Director, Taxation in corporate initiatives, such as M&A activities, post-divestiture projects and reorganization, etc.
• Assess direct and indirect tax implications for projects operating in the international market (North America, Europe and Asia) including the permanent establishment, foreign country tax issues, global mobility concerns and VAT issues.
• Advise operations and various corporate functions on their transactional tax matters and compliance needs.
• Prepare and/or review the monthly, quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage Canadian and US tax returns filing prepared externally, and coordinate with external advisors on R&D credit claim.
• Review transfer-pricing policies and identify documentation requirements. Responsible for the local Transfer Pricing documentation and Master File prepared internally and externally.
• Liaison with external tax advisors in implementation of new tax policies.
• Manage tax audits and prepare response to tax notices.

* The expected start date is at the beginning of March 2026, for a 13-month contract.

A dynamic, autonomous and proactive personality, with a sense of organization and attention to detail, who likes challenges, has a team spirit and communicates easily, with a capacity to adapt in an evolving context.

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in corporate taxation and 2 years in accounting.
• Master's degree in Taxation or CICA In-Depth Tax Course.
• Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Taxprep and OneSource software will be an asset.
