What is the Opportunity?

As a Business Development Manager with the Industrial Solutions team, you will be responsible for the direct sales of the Ovivo technology line-up into the Industrial water/wastewater market.

The role is remote in USA.

Expected domestic travel is 20-40%. Ability to travel internationally required.


What is the role?


  • Spearhead sales initiatives within the industrial water market segment, with a focus on the USA market, leveraging expertise and market knowledge.
  • Foster collaboration with a cross-functional team comprising tendering, application engineering, process, and management to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Drive direct sales efforts targeting end users, leveraging industry insights and customer relationships.
  • Serve as a representative of the company at prominent industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and cultivate business opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate new leads to expand the sales pipeline and capitalize on emerging market trends.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the water market, aligning strategies with company goals and market demands.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to enhance the visibility and recognition of the Ovivo brand in the marketplace through targeted campaigns and initiatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, stakeholders, and end users to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of annual sales plans, budgets, and forecasts, providing strategic insights and market intelligence.
  • Take the lead in the tendering process, including proposal writing and development of high-level budgets, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Provide support in terms and conditions T&C negotiations for final contracts.

Does this sound like you?


  • degree required, one of the engineering disciplines is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of directly applicable sales experience in the water/wastewater market is also required.
  • Experience in Industrial water / wastewater with direct interface with end user customers required.
  • Experience in sales of full flow sheets, biological treatment systems, and membrane systems on projects worth >$1M USD is preferred.
  • Experience in Food and Beverage, Chemical, P&P industry is preferred.
