The role is based at the head office located in downtown Montreal and we enjoy a flexible hybrid work model with two days a week at the office.
What is the Role?
- Cash Management & Financing
- Prepare the Ovivo's cash position on a weekly basis, while explaining variances and identifying cash optimization opportunities.
- Participate in the preparation of the consolidated cash flow forecast.
- Establish and administer inter-company loans with all subsidiaries worldwide.
- Banking Administration and Control
- Keep the listing of Ovivo's bank accounts complete and up to date.
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as bank account openings, KYC requests, audit requests, etc.
- Trade Finance
- Act as an internal expert in Trade Finance instruments, coordinate with the internal and external stakeholders for the preparation of bank and corporate guarantees.
- Financial Risk Management
- Participate in the management of the foreign exchange risk by evaluating the exposures and mitigate the risks by entering into derivative contracts.
- Support the Director and the Vice-President in other projects, analyzes or presentations
* The expected start date is at the end of May 2025, for a 13-month contract.
Does this sound like you?
- Strong interest for corporate finance
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other related studies
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Advance skills in Excel
- Excellent French and English, spoken and written
- CFA, CTP, CPA or M. Sc., MFA obtained or in process of - a plus
- Experience in VBA programming - a plus
