Ovivo is looking for a part time Engineering Intern to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The PFAS Solutions engineering group is seeking an aspiring engineer to fill an Engineering Intern position. Our ideal applicant is a current student in a mechanical or civil engineering program. While you do not need to have prior job experience, you must have a high GPA and some exposure to common engineering computer programs, such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks, or other 3D CAD programs. You will learn the responsibilities of a professional engineer under the supervision of our more senior engineers.
Engineering Interns at Ovivo USA gain hands on experience contributing to major projects across the country and the world. That kind of experience goes on to open doors and opportunity for years to come.
This is part time internship (15-20 hours a week, flexible schedule) available for immediate hire this spring, with opportunity for extension in the Summer.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Current enrollment in an engineering program
- High GPA
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Flexible schedule
- Strong organizational and communications skills
- Good communication skills
- MS Office skills
- Ability to understand English at advanced level via written and verbal communication
Responsibilities:
- Learn the responsibilities of an engineer
- Assist with administrative duties around the office
- Make updates to engineering drawings
- Create standard engineering drawings as required
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Other duties may be assigned as required
