The role is based at the head office located in downtown Montreal and we enjoy a flexible hybrid work model with two days a week at the office.

 

What is the Role?

 

As the Insurance Coordinator, you will provide dedicated support for a global insurance consolidation program. You will also ensure continuity of insurance activities, renewals, and project coordination across many companies globally. This is an impactful and central position within Ovivo and the SKion Water group, with great exposure to the senior management team.

 

  • Coordinate insurance renewals, policy documentation, certificates of insurance, invoicing and the collection of underwriting information from operating entities.
  • Liaise with international brokers, insurers, operating companies, and internal stakeholders to collect, centralize, administer and coordinate the renewal of insurance policies at the best terms possible.
  • Coordinate a global insurance consolidation initiative across different entities and countries.
  • Support the review and integration of several insurance lines into an insurance captive (self-insurance).
  • Track deliverables, documentation, schedules, and project milestones.
  • Maintain accurate insurance records and centralized databases, including policy information, renewal dates, premiums, claims data and outstanding action items.
  • Prepare insurance summaries, meeting materials and minutes for internal stakeholders and committees, and follow up on agreed action items.
  • Coordinate the reporting and administrative follow-up of insurance claims with brokers, insurers and operating entities.
  • Support additional insurance activities as required.
  • Provide selected paralegal and corporate administration support.
  • Assist with special corporate projects assigned by management.

 

Does this sound like you?

  • Prior insurance experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating multi-entity projects and managing numerous stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and execution skills.
  • Ability to manage timelines, follow up on deliverables, and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex documentation and data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and French; additional languages are an asset.

 

Contract Duration

  • The onboarding is scheduled in November 2026 to allow adequate knowledge transfer before year-end and ahead of March renewals.
