The Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and reflect the reported inventory. Will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, and assist with locating materials.

What is the role?

Cycle count materials based on the ABC method which will be monitored by the Inventory Accounting Supervisor.

  • Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
  • Assist in determining the root cause for inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate future and repetitive errors.
  • Assist warehouse pullers in locating materials as needed.
  • Organize and consolidate inventory to utilize maximum available space while allowing for movement throughout the warehouse to increase productivity.
  • Travel to other inventory location sites to perform the same duties.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Inventory Accounting Supervisor.

Does this sound like you?

  • High School diploma or GED, plus 1 year experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to squat, sit, stand, reach as needed to perform job functions.
  • Must be able to work as a team and independently in a fast paced environment
  • Basic PC knowledge.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
