What is the Opportunity?

As a Project Engineer or CAD Designer with the PFAS Solutions team, you are responsible for managing the technical aspects of assigned projects with an emphasis on 3D design and engineering drawings.

The role is based in our Salt Lake City Office and will enjoy our hybrid working model.

Expected domestic travel is 10-25%.

What is the role?

  • Manage the mechanical & drafting aspects within a multi-disciplinary team for the development and commercialization of effective and safe products for the treatment of per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
  • Custom design complicated equipment for fabrication and assembly. 80 percent of your time will be CAD oriented design work.
  • Manage and coordinate drafting projects with a remote team.
  • Develop drafting standards and maintaining parts library.
  • Maintaining and developing P & ID's
  • Assist manufacturing of projects by developing fabrication drawings and bill of materials.
  • Check models, layouts, detailed drawings, specifications, and instructions prepared by drafters/designers and other engineers.
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication, erection, and standard engineering drawings.
  • Advises project engineers, project managers and/ or other managers on project status.
  • Conducts quality control and quality assurance tests and ensures designs are compliant with the clients' technical requirements and budget(s).

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university or Design/Engineering knowledge from a technical college degree.
  • 1-4+ years of 3D CAD experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Inventor & AutoCAD or Solidworks
  • Experience with parametric design
  • Experience Plastic/PVC piping systems and plastic fabrication.
  • Preferred knowledge of electrical, instrumentation.
