The Material Handler and Production Operator is responsible for all physical and logical material movements throughout the facility, including warehouse raw materials, production work in process, and outbound finished goods.

The role is based in Hutto, Texas, just North of Austin at a state of the art manufacturing facility.
What is the role?
Shipping and Receiving: Receive and put away all purchase receipts, including de-trashing, identifying product (bar code labeling), and determining appropriate warehouse storage requirements, including rotation of existing stock based upon appropriate FEFO requirements. Prepare and ship all outbound shipments, including packaging & crating, preparing paperwork, and logistics coordination. Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner. Process all logical transactions in the computer system.
Inventory Control: Maintain proper storage and count accuracy for all raw materials within the warehouse. Perform directed and undirected material movements from warehouse into Kanban or other locations. Process receipt of finished goods into inventory and put away. Cycle or physical inventory counting of all raw materials on a periodic basis. Assist in determining root cause of inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions.
Material Movements: Physically and logically move all intra-plant materials, including issuing raw materials to Kanban and/or production, physical movements of work in process materials, and receipt of finished goods into inventory. Requires ability to safely operate a forklift.
Production Operator (as required): Operating of machinery and equipment. Loading and unloading of product into machinery and equipment. Monitoring of the production process and quality inspection. Assembly, testing, and packaging of membrane modules. Conduct material handling, cleaning, and disposal activities. Participates in preventive maintenance and refurbishment activities of machinery and equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

- Ability to understand, read, write and converse in English.
