What is the Opportunity?

Cembrane USA is looking for a Quality Lab Technician to join our team. Cembrane is the world's largest manufacturer of Silicon Carbide membranes, revolutionizing water treatment. As production ramps up to meet demand, we need to grow our team. Cembrane plans to grow production three times by 2028, which will require new equipment, optimized processes etc. Membranes are manufactured through over 30 production steps. You will work closely with the team here and our engineering crew in Denmark, reporting to the Plant Manager.

As a Quality Lab Technician, you will ensure product quality by conducting tests, inspections, and analyses on in-process materials, and finished products. You will be responsible for day-to-day laboratory operations and maintaining the necessary documentation.

You will perform scheduled calibration on quality equipment to ensure compliance to ISO9001

Additionally, you will ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and keep inventory levels of lab consumables.

The role is based in our Hutto, TX facility and will report to the Global Quality Manager.

What is the role?

• Conducting routine and specialized tests on samples to ensure they meet quality standards
• Management and inventory of laboratory supplies, spare parts & samples
• Day-to-day maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Proper operation and calibration of laboratory instruments
• Release and moving product from Quality Control Zones
• Accurately recording and documenting test results, observations, and any deviations from standard procedures
• Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment and instruments
• Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment
• Following all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Other duties as assigned

Does this sound like you?

• High School Diploma.
• 2 Years of experience as a Quality Technician
• Basic laboratory metrology
• Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently
• Self-directed and self-motivated
• Must be able to sit, stand, lift, reach, and bend daily
