Generate sales activity and revenue within the Inlet business through direct sales to Water and Wastewater plants and local engineering firms within the state of Texas. Accountable for P&L commitments for the department. Actively seeks to create and grow target market sectors and business opportunities. Maintains industry leading technical competency of the sales team.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for sustainable business growth
  • Actively supports direct sales for Inlet into water and wastewater plants and design engineering firms
  • Demonstrates a high level of technical competency regarding technologies and processes central to business goals
  • Delivers profitable sales to the business group
  • Develop new business opportunities in the market
  • Identifies and advises on trends in the industry that would impact sales and specific product lines for the business
  • Maintains close relationships with key clients and consultants in Texas
  • Promotes appropriate business strategies within the sales team and client base to ensure maximum company profitability
  • Participates in technical forums to cultivate and promote product expertise
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
  • Organize and prioritize multiple tasks received from various individuals within the company
  • Other duties may be assigned as required


  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
  • Prepare and present information at a high technical level
  • Great organizational and relationship skills
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of practical problems
  • Able to make decisions requiring the use of multiple variables in complex nonstandard situations
  • Use discretion and independent judgement on matters of significance and when selling products to enhance profitability
  • Knowledge of international process contractors and consultants in the Water/Wastewater industry


  • Bachelor's degree; High School diploma; and a minimum of five 5 years sales experience with directly related products; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous sales experience gained within the Water/Wastewater industry
  • Working knowledge of Capital and Commodity related products to our industry


Yes, some travel to vendor facilities and training is required. Travel would be approximately 10%
