SUMMARY

As a key member of the HR team, you will be responsible for recruiting top talent to support our growth and expansion. Your work will be hands-on and involve collaborating with managers across our different departments within North America and Canada, to secure critical talent necessary to sustain our current headcount and growth within the industry. We are looking for a skilled individual that can handle every aspect of recruiting and is excited to be a part of changing how the world views our most critical resource – Water.


HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL DO:.

  • You'll have 5+ years' experience in sourcing and recruiting from the following Engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineering.
  • Experience closing top technical talent.
  • Work closely with managers to fully understand open positions, work environment, cultural organizational fit and critical skills needed for each position and/or department.
  • Understand the criticality of all positions and work with managers to prioritize deadlines needed to staff positions.
  • Build connections and relationships with top colleges and universities; attend career fairs and trade shows as needed and be responsible for building Ovivo's brand and name recognition.
  • Emphasize the company's goal, initiative and objectives of securing female talent within technical and management roles.
  • Cultivate and maintain proactive internet sourcing methods to support robust building of candidate pipeline.
  • In conjunction with HR Generalist, you'll manage Ovivo's referral network from employees.
  • Manage web posting process, advertisements in appropriate media and social networking sites in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure that all applicant tracking systems are accurate and maintained in order to extract data required for reports and analytics.
  • You'll effectively negotiate pay rates in line with approved pay scales.
  • Effectively screen and interview candidates and present the top finalist to management.

YOUR QUALIFICATION WILL INCLUDE:

  • You'll have a strong sense of urgency and a passion for what you do.
  • Possess excellent multi-tasking abilities and a keen ability to prioritize tasks while ensuring all positions receive the necessary attention.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and managers on a daily basis.
  • Exceptional people skills will empower you to work closely with managers at all levels to fill positions in a trusted, two-way-street working relationship.
  • Fully understand technical lingo to effectively communicate with top talent.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL POSSESS:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, full cycle technical recruiting environment.
  • Experience working in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong MS Office Suite.
  • Expert at Linked-In, Job Boards, passive recruiting, college and university recruiting, social media, etc.

WILL I NEED TO TRAVEL:

Yes, some travel to attend career fairs, trade shows, and college recruiting events will be expected. Travel should be approximately 15% or less.
