What is the opportunity?

The Industrial Engineer will have the opportunity to develop, implement and manage aspects of Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Governance ESG and become a key member of the Plant Team.

The position will be based in Stafford, TX

Domestic travel up to 15 - 20%.

What is the role?

• Lead the development and implementation of the Quality Management System, e.g. Procedures, Work Instructions, Test Instructions, Receiving Inspection, Supplier Quality, Non-Conformance Reporting NCR - in preparation for future ISO 9001 Certification, ISO 14001 Certification.
• Proactively identify and address potential quality issues and implement actions to prevent defects, work with Manufacturing Manager to continuously improve manufacturing processes, product quality and satisfy customer requirements.
• Actively interact with Production to ensure in-process quality requirements are met.
• Develop and conduct quality-related trainings for Production Operators and indirect/overhead plant team members.
• Together with the Plant Manager, be first point of contact in case of customer quality complaints and assure timely and proper responses.
• Serve as a driver and coordinator for the continuous improvement of the Plant Quality Management System, under consideration of Ovivo Quality Documentation, by application of internal quality system audits and corresponding corrective action and improvement activities.
• Drive and support relevant plant activities toward achieving customer satisfaction, industry standards and quality certifications, e.g. ISO 9001, ESG Activities.
• Manage Supplier Development to ensure suppliers meet documented requirements and interface with Supply Chain Management/Purchasing.

Does this sound like you?

• Bachelor Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Quality, or other appropriate discipline.
• Experience managing or working with ISO9001 and ISO14001 programs. Must include development of procedure and work practices.
• Must be highly results orientated and able to work in a changing environment where a high degree of teamwork and collaboration are required, communicate effectively both verbally and written, handle multiple assignments, and a wide diversity of assignments.
