As a Field Service Technician, your primary focus will be on-site responsibilities and support for Ovivo membrane-based water and wastewater treatment systems and equipment.

This role will support plan installation, commissioning, and equipment maintenance at customer site for all Ovivo Equipment. The role is located in Salt Lake City but will require heavy travel.

What is the role?

  • Operates with wide latitude for un-reviewed actions and decisions requiring independent judgment having a direct impact on the Company.
  • Support plan installation
  • Support commissioning of installed equipment
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and rebuild of installed equipment
  • Identify sales opportunities and make recommendations to customers
  • Perform operator training
  • Perform physical duties required by job: lifting/moving up to 100lbs, vision requirements, walk, sit, use hands, etc.

  • Strong interpersonal skills needed to interface with employees, customers, and representatives worldwide.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks from a number of individuals.
  • Ability to read and understand document processing related procedures.
  • Ability to respond effectively and timely to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
  • Ability to make decisions requiring the use of multiple variables, in complex non-standard situations.
  • Advanced mathematical, verbal technical writing skills.
  • Ability to take on special projects and handle them to completion with indirect supervision
  • B.S. degree in mechanical engineering discipline is desirable but not required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years directly applicable technical experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in: field service and/or project management, water/wastewater equipment maintenance and/or operation.
