As a Repair and Rebuild Product Manager you will be responsible for offering repair, rebuild and other solutions to industrial and municipal customers using various types of water and wastewater treatment equipment.

The role is based in our Salt Lake City Office, and we enjoy a hybrid work model. While most of your time will be spent in the office, you will be equipped to work between the office and remotely.

This role will require 30% travel.

What is the role?

  • Work within a cross-functional team environment with Engineering, Project Management, and Marketing to sell valuable solutions while achieving objectives and acceptable profit margins.
  • Review customer information and provide recommendations on product application, sizing, repair scenarios, and rebuild options.
  • Provide specifications, specification reviews, general arrangement drawings, technical data, and other sales aid materials as required for support of customer needs.
  • Prepare proposals and sales quotes, as well as the corresponding cost estimates and pricing.
  • Execute field sales visits and make customer presentations in support of such activities.
  • Participate in equipment start-up and provide technical training.
  • Evaluate market potential and recommend pursuing/not pursuing opportunities.
  • Recommend product improvements and standardizations.
  • Assemble, develop, and provide specific equipment information to Engineering.
  • Work with rebuild centers and sub-contractors with the labor and repair side of the business.
  • Communicate with and motivate a network of representatives.
  • Develop sales tools and strategies and work with sales representatives on projects to ensure OEM status and sole-source positioning.
  • Travel to potential rebuild sites and identify the scope of work.
  • 30% travel required.

Does this sound like you?

  • B.S degree is required or a minimum of five years of directly applicable technical experience. Experience in sales is a plus. Experience interpreting specs and quoting bid type projects is preferred. Experience working in a similar field dealing in sales, bids and drawings/ blue prints is preferred. Mechanically inclined person is necessary. Computer skills is required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex industry related documents.
  • Must be able to communicate on a technical level, verbally and in writing, and deliver presentations.
  • Knowledge of Wastewater and Water Treatment products and associated equipment.
  • Must be proficient with personal computer using company standard software. Ability in Word, Excel, and Syteline application programs desired.
  • Must be able to meet customer site safety and access requirements as necessary
